The Western Newfoundland Model Forest works with Western School District, Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, College of the North Atlantic and the NL Department of Education to create these educational opportunities for students and teachers:

Project Wild is a great resource for educators and interpreters looking for hands-on activities for their outdoor education programs.

The NL Department of Environment and Conservation offers an outdoor program for women wishing to learn more about outdoor recreational activities. Becoming an Outdoors Woman is fun and educational.
