The Western
Newfoundland Model Forest’s standing committees develop projects
under the Model Forest’s Strategic Implementation Plans.
Committee members
apply their practical, on-the-ground knowledge to Model Forest activities.
Standing committees monitor the progress of each project under their
authority with assistance from the WNMF's project manager. The committee
ensures proponents submit regular project reports, and members review
the reports and submit them to the Executive Committee.
Our two standing
committees are Planning and Applied
Science and Knowledge and Science
Transfer.
