The
Criteria and Indicators Working Group is responsible for directing
the development of indicators of sustainable forest management under
the Canadian Council of Forest Minister’s Criteria and Indicators
Framework.
Challenges include
ensuring indicators are relevant to all partners and are meaningful,
providing the necessary baseline data for each indicator; and assigning
responsibility for continuous monitoring of indicator values.
