The Western Newfoundland Model Forest has developed an impressive suite of research, education and SFM tools over the past 10 years. Some of our projects with partners include an Education Legacy with School District #3, a publication outlining Best Management Practices for Domestic Woodcutting in Newfoundland and Labrador, a guide to Sustainable Forest Management Training for Frontline Forestry Workers, information on Geo-Referencing Non-Timber Values, and Decade of Excellence, a publication highlighting the WNMF's accomplishments over its first 10 years.
