Where is the Model Forest?

The Western Newfoundland Model Forest (WNMF) is a snapshot of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador and its beauty, abundant natural resources, and renowned hospitality.

Our geographic range covers nearly one million hectares of boreal forest bounded on the north by Gros Morne National Park, the east by the Buchans Plateau and Lloyds River, the south by the Burgeo Highway, and the west by the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

Our office is located in the Forest Centre on the Sir Wilfred Grenfell College Campus in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.
